My name is Jinda Panichyoupakaranun. I am writing this letter to introduce myself as a candidate of your company.
I’m graduate student in Mechanical Engineering department at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok Thailand. I received four years scholarship from GE foundation since my freshmen year. My accumulated GPA is 3.35. I’m complete my Bachelor Degree in March of 2008.
During my third year of undergraduate study, I was trained at Michelin Siam as part of summer internship. After my internship mentor gave an overview of the manufacturing process, I was assigned a project “Reduce Scrap at Slitter”. My task was to minimize rubber waste during a tire production process. At the end of the program, my project was awarded the third prize.
Currently, I am wrapping up my senior design project which entitled “Flow visualization and heat transfer of nano fluid in Heat pipe”. The purpose of this project is to increase the efficiency of a heat pipe by using nano fluid (nano particle of Aluminum Oxide + water) instead of a usual working fluid. The scopes of this project are
- To study the process of heat transfer in heat pipe.
- To create heat pipe.
- To design and produce testing equipment of heat transfer.
- To study the effect of nano-fluid intensity and the quantity of working fluid to the heat transfer by measuring rate of heat transfer from thermocouple in working fluid.
To achieve the above mentioned goals, we design an experimental setup consist of heating, adiabatic, and condensing unit.
I believe my background as a Mechanical undergraduate student along with my experiences from summer internship program and senior project make me a good candidate for this job.
