โครงการ/ผลงาน :

I put my engineering degree to good use in my career by taking various technical positions in NSEB and Seagate companies from 1994 till present. These experiences enhanced my engineering skills as well as instill upon me the discipline required to maintain six sigma operational standards. Specific skill sets obtained include areas in process engineering, process development, failure analysis, manufacturing operations and statistical controls, including six sigma methodologies. The exposure to multinational companies like NSEB and Seagate greatly broadened my perspective of how business is done across different countries.

These formative years serve as a strong technical base to build upon and the last few years were focused on the management and business aspects to give an all rounded experience. I was involved in logistical and management issues during start up HDD manufacturing in Korat which provided significant insights into customer relationship management aspects of multinational business. Working as Core Team in Seagate to manage all aspects of product management from product launch to volume ramp and end of life offered a valuable general management perspective, liasing with senior management, leading cross site/functional teams to champion product issues to deliver product performance.

I believe the breath of scope of my experience, coupled with the depth of understanding of engineering and operational issues has provided me with the skill sets required to succeed in any future environments.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENT

• Start up the drive manufacturing operation in Korat for Seagate, a significant company milestone as we transformed a component factory into the higher value added hard disk drive manufacturing under HDD Program Manager role
• Effective managing high volume products from launch to volume ramp and end of life as measured by the schedule, cost and quality metrics under Core Team role
• Restructured HDD process engineering organization and coaching subordinators to expand scope & responsibility with full leadership & ownership to effective manage technical, process and manufacturing issues , resulted to 100% schedule accuracy with minimum process scrap and well maintain quality level for 6 months consecutively under Process Engineering Director role
