Recruit and perform DC allowance negotiation with suppliers to join distribution Center (DC) and manage DC revenue according to provided budget.
Identify new opportunity related to Supply Chain value added such as managing backhaul margin or rate improvement to achieve company target.
Propose and follow up on 3PL continuous improvement planning together with Makro DC managers.
Define and analyze problem and root causes, recognize opportunities and lunch initiatives to address various logistics issues and improve overall logistics process in the most cost-effective way.
Plan, coordinate, decision support, problem solving and work with all concerns such as Commercial, DC suppliers and 3PL regarding Supply Chain impact, operation flow and communicate all concerns to smooth supply chain process and activities.
Work with DC managers, Transport manager and 3PL to identify, analyze and define the critical transportation factors to obtain for Makro the most cost-effective operation.
Lead Supply chain development projects related to DC and Supply chain in order to improve overall efficiency, profitability and productivity. Work with DC team to control logistics operation expense according to provided budget.

Works with the order fulfillment process (order to delivery) in order to ensure delivery of goods to customers. Additionally, this will necessitate driving prompt process issue resolution to ensure joint goals are achieved.
Monitors performance metrics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to understand service and efficiency trends within assigned customers and find opportunities for improvement. Shares performance information with the Team and customers to develop collaborative approaches to correct inefficient behaviors or fix system disconnects.
Coordinates cross-functional work teams to eliminate root causes of customer supply chain inefficiency and Out of Stocks (OOS) by evaluating Customer POS data. Effective communications skills are critical to ensure that the entire Customer Development Team and our customers are kept informed of all issues.
Actively participates in Demand Planning both internal and with the customers (merchandising and replenishment departments) to ensure execution of plan by customer and fulfillment of plan by Colgate-Palmolive at the lowest total delivered cost. Special emphasis must be given to new product introductions and promotional activities.
Establishes relationships at multiple levels within the customers organizations. Works with customers in an advisory/expert capacity on supply chain initiatives driven by Supplier Collaboration Boards and internal Colgate initiatives. |
